The Harvest Moon-style game was featured in a montage of indie games during Microsoft's E3 press conference, confirming an Xbox One version. A blog post on the game's official website subsequently confirmed PS4 and Wii U versions are also on the way.
All three versions are expected out during Q4 2016, putting it somewhere in the October-December window.
"It's very important to me that playing Stardew Valley with console controllers is intuitive and effortless," the blog post states. "I'll be the first to admit that the current, rudimentary controller support in the PC version is far from ideal, and it will need to be adjusted prior to the launch.
"I'm also excited about the possibility of utilizing special console features like the Wii U's second screen!"
In addition to these new console versions, Mac and Linux support is also on the way "very soon."
