StarHub to offer gamer-focused broadband plan
The Singapore telecoms company is partnering with distributors Asiasoft and e-sports publisher Garena, to offer bonuses for its fibre broadband plan subscribers.
Singapore telecoms company StarHub has announced that it will be offering a new fibre broadband plan--titled MaxInfinity LVL99--created specifically for gamers.
The plan comes in two types: a 100Mbps and 150Mbps version. StarHub stated that both plans will offer international download speeds of 15Mbps for 95 percent of the time during peak hours, and unlimited international bandwidth during off-peak hours.
The former plan costs S$69.90($57), while the latter costs S$84.53($69). Users who subscribe to the plan with a StarHub TV package will get the 100Mbps plan for S$62.90($51),and the 150Mbps plan for S$69.90($57).
Both plans also offer free downloadable content worth up to S$10 for Blackshot, Heroes of Newerth, and League of Legends. The plans offer an IP bonus (increased drop rates, extra experience points, and other in-game bonuses) for the Southeast Asian versions of the following titles: AIKA, Alliance of Valiant Arms, Audition, Cabal Online, GetAmped R, MapleStory, Sudden Attack, and XW Online.
The following bonuses are a result of the telecom company's recent partnership with Asiasoft and Garena. Users can find more information on its official site.
