Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, and Nintendo All Have The Game Awards Sales Going On
Everything from Doom to Monster Hunter Generations to Rez Infinite is on sale.
With this year's annual The Game Awards show taking place tonight, all of the major platforms have launched sales to coincide with the event.
Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, and Nintendo eShop sales are now live. Games nominated for awards receive the spotlight in these sales, which means you'll find many of the same games on sale across multiple platforms.

For instance, Doom is $30 on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One, but that appears to be one of the few examples where the price is the same. Oxenfree is $5 on Steam, $14 on PS4, and $10 on Xbox One. Similarly, Dishonored 2 is $40 on Steam and PS4, but $50 on Xbox One, while Hyper Light Drifter is $12 on Steam and $13.39 on PS4/Xbox One.
Nintendo's sale is somewhat limited but does include some games worth a look, primarily on 3DS. Monster Hunter Generations is $24, Hyrule Warriors Legends is $28, The Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes for $24 (as I always note, be sure you have friends to play this with), Fire Emblem: Awakening is $20, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is $35.
Other deals of note include Rez Infinite for $24 on PS4, Thumper for $16 on Steam/PS4, Stardew Valley for $10 on Steam, The Witness for $20 on Steam, and Firewatch for $12 on Steam/$14 on PS4. Big-name recent releases like Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1, and Titanfall 2 are also on sale, though none are as steeply discounted as on Black Friday.
