The young stars of the upcoming movie version of Stephen King's classic horror novel It have been been revealed. The gang--known as the Losers' Club--feature in a series of shots posted on Instagram by producer Barbara Muschietti.

Wolfhard plays Richie Tozier, while the other cast members are Jaeden Lieberher (as Bill Denbrough), Sophie Lillis (Beverly Marsh), Wyatt Oleff {Stanley Uris), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben Hanscomb), Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie Kaspbrak), and Chosen Jacobs (Mike Hanlon).

The movie also stars Bill Skarsgard as the terrifying demonic clown Pennywise. Skarsgard was first revealed in costume last summer, and a creepy recent image showed Pennywise emerging from a sewer pipe.

The movie is scheduled for a September release. It is expected to be the first of two films--in the novel, a group of teens overcome their fears to eventually defeat the creature known as It. Years later he returns, and as adults they must work together to finish the job. The first movie will be about the children's story, while a second will chronicle the adults' narrative.

The It adaptation has been a long time coming. Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Beasts of No Nation) was attached to direct at one stage, but eventually dropped out due to creative differences. Will Poulter (The Revenant) was pegged to play Pennywise, but scheduling conflicts also led him to withdraw from the project.

It hits theaters on September 8, 2017.
