Canadian publisher Strategy First and Swedish game company Paradox Entertainment have announced a North American publishing agreement for Legion, a strategy game based on the Roman Empire. The game lets players control one of many tribes, city-states, or leagues in ancient Italy, and they must use both conquest and diplomacy to build an empire. Players will compete against up to 20 different computer-controlled sides, all of which are all based on the nations that would have been present at the time and have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Legion is in development at UK-based Slitherine Software. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
