The character roster for upcoming fighting game Street Fighter V continues to grow, as Capcom has now confirmed Rainbow Mika will appear in the PlayStation 4 and PC game. She was previously rumored. Before Street Fighter V, R. Mika had appeared in only one Street Fighter game, 1998's Street Fighter Alpha 3.

"As a flamboyant young wrestler, Mika dreamed of one day becoming a star in the ring, much like her idol Zangief," Capcom said. "Training under the strict tutelage of her coach, she traveled the world engaging in random matches with street fighters in order to spread her name and popularity."

R. Mika will have a "large variety of high-flying moves," one of which involves calling in her tag-team partner Nadeshiko. Here's how Capcom says that will work.

"By calling Nadeshiko at the right time using R. Mika's V-Trigger ability, you'll be able to setup sneaky attacks and punishing command grab mix-ups that are sure to knock the stuffing out of your opponent. Players who enjoy close-combat guessing games and striking fear into the hearts of opponents will find R. Mika an absolute delight to play."

R. Mika's V-Skill is "Mic Performance." For this move, she pulls out her microphone and gives a "heart-pumping monologue to the crowd." The longer you hold the buttons down, the more powerful her throws become. When she's giving her monologue, R. Mika can absorb one hit from her opponent; she can also cancel the speech at any time. Doing this flings the microphone at her opponent.

For more on R. Mika's skillset, watch the video above and check out this detailed post on the PlayStation Blog. R. Mika will be playable at the Capcom booth this weekend at PAX Prime, where Capcom is expected to make another announcement about the game.

In other Street Fighter V news, the game's worldwide PS4 beta will restart tomorrow, August 28.
