Following Street Fighter V's somewhat rocky launch on Tuesday, Capcom continues to make adjustments in its effort to improve the overall experience. In a blog post, Capcom said it's making "a lot of great progres on all fronts" towards smoothing things out as it relates to matchmaking, Battle Lounge, and Fighter ID Search.

On the subject of Ranked and Casual matchmaking, Capcom said this is now "stable" and "working as intended for most users." Further tweaks were recently deployed that should help players get into matches "at a much faster rate."

"We do understand this is not the case for everyone, and the amount of matches a user gets can vary by region," Capcom said. The developer also encouraged people having a less-than-optimal experience to write a message to Capcom containing as much detail as possible.

For Battle Lounge, Capcom acknowledged that some people are "still running into issues," though it doesn't sound like the problems are very widespread. Still, the developer plans to implement new fixes this weekend

Finally, Capcom said it's aware of problems related to newly created Fighter IDs not showing up in search. The developer explained that it's resolved this problem, as new accounts should now show up in search within 30 minutes of when they were created.

We'll continue to bring you new updates on the status of Street Fighter V's servers and online features.

One item not addressed in the blog post was Street Fighter V's lack of a penalty system of players who quit matches early. A solution is in the works, but it remains to be seen when it will be released.
