If you enjoy bashing people over the head with giant metal arms, we have good news for you. French publisher Dotemu has unveiled the final playable fighter for Streets of Rage 4, Floyd Iraia, and he has a fair resemblance to a certain fighting game character who loves to pull people's arms off, i.e. Jax from Mortal Kombat. He can pound the ground, and he even says "gotcha!" when he grabs enemies, too.

Streets of Rage 4 is a much-anticipated new title in Sega's beat 'em up series, which hasn't seen an entry in over 25 years. The game is under development by publisher Dotemu and Lizardcube, which is best known for their remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, with additional support from Guard Crush Games.

As part of the same announcement, Dotemu revealed that the game will feature four-player local multiplayer, a first for the series, as well as two-player online modes. The release date for the game has yet to be announced, but all sources point towards some time in 2020. It's unclear if Mr. X will show up at the end to mow you down with a machine-gun, but it's a fair bet at this point.
