Summoner 2 goes gold

THQ and Volition have announced that development work on Summer 2 for the PlayStation 2 is complete. In the game, players control Maia and a number of other characters who join her on her journey. Each of these characters can be customized with a different set of skills and magical powers. Summoner 2 also features 30 locations that take advantage of the game's fantasy-like setting.

Summoner 2 is scheduled for release on September 13.
