Super Mario Bros. Movie Available Now On Blu-Ray, Steelbook Edition Back In Stock
Best Buy's 4K Steelbook edition is up for grabs again, but it will probably sell out soon.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie doesn't officially release on Blu-ray until June 13, but select retailers such as Best Buy are selling special editions early. If you loved the animated romp across the Mushroom Kingdom, now's your chance to watch it in its best format (4K UHD Blu-ray). The Blu-ray comes with a handful of special features, including a segment about the creation of the movie, a field guide, and a lyric video of the biggest song of 2023. Yes, we're talking about Bowser's "Peaches."
Best of all, Best Buy's exclusive steelbook edition of the 4K UHD Blu-ray is back in stock. Alternatively, you can opt for Walmart's limited-edition standard Blu-ray box set or Target's exclusive 3D lenticular case. We've outlined all of The Super Mario Bros. Movie physical purchase formats below. Keep in mind you can also purchase the movie on digital right now.

While audiences are finding The Super Mario Bros. Movie to be a family-friendly thrill ride, critics are split on the title. Our review gave the film an impressive 8/10, praising it for great action sequences and remaining respectful to the source material.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie never feels reverent of the Mario IP, but it's also never disrespectful,” wrote critic Phil Owen. “It's a spot that might not have worked if the film weren't so well put together--fortunately for us, though, The Super Mario Bros., could end up being one of the best big-budget action flicks of the year.”
