The cast of Super Mario bros. had a lot of fun watching Mario test out power-ups.

If you've seen the Super Mario Bros. Movie during its theatrical run, you know there's far more to Mario's power-ups than the iconic red mushroom that turns him from a little guy into a tall (sort of) plumber man. Now, the cast of the movie has gone ahead and broken down some of Mario's other power-ups, including one very special mushroom that makes for huge laughs. You can check out the exclusive clip from the home release of Super Mario Bros. below.

While the likes of Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) know all about power-ups, Mario (Chris Pratt) has a lot to learn in the film. On the surface, you just need to punch the question mark blocks and grab whatever they give you. However, as head of story Ed Skudder explains, not all power-ups are necessarily what you'll want to get your hands on.

Now Playing: Super Mario Bros. Movie - Behind The Spectacular Power Ups

"Blue mushroom get you small," he says. What then follows is a series of clips of tiny Mario getting absolutely thrashed by King Kong (Seth Rogen). While Charlie Day jokingly admits he would eat a mushroom if it made him taller, the same isn't said for the shrinking blur mushroom.

Still, it's always hilarious watching a fish out of water acclimate to his ridiculous no surroundings and the Super Mario Bros. Movie is no different. "Mario's only just learned how to use all of the power-ups," she Taylor-Joy said. "It's just so funny."

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is currently available on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD, along with digital rental and purchase.
