Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS gets new character: Punch-Out's Little Mac

WOW FINALLY, the mighty boxer from nintendo is recognized in the way he deserves. COME ON! someone that can beat Myke Tyson must be in smash bros.

In the other hand, there are a lot of heroes they are not taking in count, one of them, SKETCH TURNER from Comix Zone!, his combos, RoadKill, and the super hero guy! it could be a really great opponent from sega... a more real character, like little mac, and a fresh wind from old times.

this is the only reason why im getting a wii u ... i honestly think they shouldve made more games for the wii......

I wrote an analysis on Little Mac to clear up some of the confusion about the character. The boxer's combos are devastating! If you don't know much about his super armor or low moving normals I highly suggest checking it out.

Why are people so obsessed with Little Mac? I have nothing against this guy and he brings some variety to the roster but why is he such a popular charackter, I really don't know.

SSB4 needs more heavyweight original and unique fighters and villains like King K. Rool from the DK universe would totally fit in instead of another generic human character with barely any interesting move-sets. Heres a preview of what King K. Rool would look/play like << LINK REMOVED >>

this game makes me want a wii u. but I can't see myself buying a console for one game. it's like the only game I want from xbox one is killer instinct.

Grammatical snafu aside, (proofread your articles closely!), he looks like a fun character. Has to get up close and personal and with lack of projectiles, it should make those happy who like to be in the thick of things. I see him as a character who'd do well with players that have a quick hand-eye reflex and able to respond quickly to attacks and the ongoing action on the screen. If the player keeps their cool and keeps that counter move ready in their back pocket, along with dodging skills to sidestep projectiles and get his way in, Little Mac could definitely float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Glad Sonic's back. I wouldn't mind Ness and Lucas returning. As far newcomers, I vote for Krystal (as a staff user; we don't need another Fox doppleganger) and Midna.

This is a pretty cool addition, but I'm still waiting for Golden Sun's Isaac!

The game that is really going to push Wii U consoles is clearly Mario Kart 8. With it releasing in late May, Nintendo is giving PS4 and even Xbone a chance to over shadow any momentum they are anticipating. I own a Wii U and will certainly be picking up Mark Kart. For those that don't own a Wii U... 3-$350 to play Mario Kart? Good luck Nintendo, I'm still pulling for you.
