Switch 2 Release Window Hinted At: Here's When One Dev Thinks It Might Arrive
A publisher has revealed a six-month window when the system might release.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to mark a momentous moment for the video game industry in 2025, with some predicting it, along with GTA 6, could help the business return to major growth. But when is the Switch 2 coming? That remains an open question, but now a third-party publisher has provided an indication of when it is expecting the system to debut.
Nacon, a French publisher formerly known as Bigben, said in its latest earnings briefing that it's expecting the Switch 2 to launch between April and September 2025. The company said it already has "compatible games and a full range of accessories" ready to go for the Switch 2.

Nacon did not reveal any of the games or accessories it might have ready to support the Switch 2, however. Nacon has published titles like GreedFall and Terminator: Survivors, along with Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown. In terms of accessories, Nacon makes controllers, headsets, mice, and more.
Nintendo itself has only confirmed a 2025 release date for the Switch 2. There is some evidence out there that points to the Switch 2 releasing in June at the soonest, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
What we do know is that Nintendo will hold a Switch 2 Nintendo Direct on April 2, during which the company is expected to announce many more details about the system and potentially its games. We may also find out other essential information like the console's release date and price.
The Switch 2's announcement trailer may have contained clues about the system and its features, while fans believe it may have also included a first look at the next Mario Kart game. You can check out the gallery below to see all the rumored Switch 2 games so far.
