System Shock Remastered Gets Brand New Gameplay Trailer
At the Guerrilla Collective conference, we got a fresh look at the upcoming System Shock Remastered.
We got a fresh look at System Shock Remastered during the Guerrilla Collective conference on June 13. The trailer showed a variety of exploration and combat encounters, set against jazzy tunes. It noted that this is alpha footage subject to change, and ended by encouraging players to try the alpha demo.
Most recently, Nightdive Studios released a demo for the remastered game on Steam, and promised more news in June. It's unclear if this trailer was promoting a new demo or the existing one.
System Shock Remastered has been in development for some time, having been delayed out of its original 2018 release window following a successful crowdfunding campaign. It's slated to come out sometime this year, but a release date hasn't been announced. System Shock 3, however, has a less-certain fate, but it's now moving forward with Tencent after issues almost caused its cancellation.
