Tales From The Borderlands Hits Nintendo Switch On March 24
Players can jump into Tales from the Borderlands on-the-go this March
During the February 2021 Nintendo Direct livestream, Nintendo announced that Tales from the Borderlands will be coming to Nintendo Switch on March 24. This release will include all five episodes of the game.
Unlike the main Borderlands games, Tales from the Borderlands is not a first-person shooter. The choose-your-own-adventure game is set in the Borderlands universe, between 2 and 3, and originally released as five separate episodes in 2014 and 2015. As mentioned, the Switch release includes all five of Tales from the Borderlands' episodes.
Tales from the Borderlands was developed by the now-defunct Telltale Games and received critical acclaim both for its individual episodes and as an entire package. This marks the first time Tales from the Borderlands will be playable on a Nintendo console.
Nintendo unveiled a bunch of news during its February 2021 Direct. This includes providing a development update on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, revealing release dates for games like Fall Guys and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and confirmation that Splatoon will get a third entry that's expected to arrive on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022.
