Tao's Adventure headed for DS
New role-playing game invites players to overcome the Curse of the Demon Seal starting in March.
Much like records and rules, curses were made to be broken. Such is the case with the hex in Konami's newly announced DS role-playing game, Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal.
When a monster's curse turns the occupants of Tao's village to stone, the young magician must set off on an adventure that will test his wand-waving mettle. He must get hold of an ancient monster's egg by the next full moon to save his village or the curse will become permanent.
Players will use the DS touch screen to cast spells and fight the game's dozens of adversaries. In addition to following the main story of saving Tao's village, players will also be able to boost their reputation through side quests, collect non-curse-related eggs, and train monstrous familiars to help them in their battles.
Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal is slated for a March release. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's coverage of Konami's press event.
