Activision announced on Thursday that its Game Boy Color title based on the Tarzan license has shipped to stores. The game was developed by Digital Eclipse.

According to Activision, "Artists meticulously re-created each character in the game, letting players experience the fluidity and speed on their Game Boy Color. Featuring compelling characters and an intriguing storyline, Disney's Tarzan immerses players in an action-packed expedition through a detailed world teeming with challenges." The Game Boy Color Tarzan features 23 levels for players to make their way through.

"Activision is excited to be a part of the launch of Disney's Tarzan feature film and the Game Boy Color game," said Mitch Lasky of executive vice president, Activision Studios. "Our Game Boy Color title allows players to bring the action of the Disney movie alive in a pocket sized fun-filled adventure."
