Update (10:19 PM PST): Xpecial has declined to comment further to onGamers.
Update 2 (10:25 PM PST): Additional sources have informed us that the decision was made at least a week ago. Xpecial added via Twitter:
I shouldn't have said it on stream. I guess I was just frustrated. Try to refrain from overreacting until a further announcement. Sorry!

Original Story:
While streaming tonight, Alex 'Xpecial' Chu announced that he had been moved to the TSM bench:
"I did get benched from TSM, apparently a sub. It might be permanent, I don't know yet... ...they're starting scrims tomorrow and I won't be playing in them... ...it's not for performance."
Though he said he did not want to speak more on the topic until the official announcement had come through, Xpecial did add:
"It was mainly a management decision, the team didn't have much say in it. I'm not sure what's going to happen in the future from now."
TSM marksman Wildturtle has been duo queuing with C9 Tempest's Gleebglarbu recently, and sources tell onGamers that he will be trying out for the newly vacated support position in scrims with the team this week. It is currently unknown what other players are also actively trying out for the role.
OnGamers has reached out to both TSM management and Xpecial for further information and will update the post accordingly.
