Tecmo Shows Dead or Alive 2

TOKYO - Tecmo showed off a playable version of Dead or Alive 2 for the PlayStation2 at the Upcoming Software presentation At the PlayStation Festival. While it was hard to distinguish many graphical changes from the NAOMI or the Dreamcast versions of the game, one area that Tecmo did try to stress has been improved is in the motions of the characters' faces as they talk with one another. Everything looked perfectly smooth and complete, though, so we're assuming the title will be nearing completion soon.

No release date was specified for Dead or Alive 2, but sources have indicated it should be out sometime in March. For now, though, check out the screens and video that we captured at the show.
