The Texas Lottery this week launched a Tetris-themed scratch-off game with more than $11.5 million in prizes up for grabs. The organization is using the excellent tagline "Don't Mess With Tetris" to promote it.

Even non-winning cards are still potentially worth something. Players can enter them into a second-chance drawing for a shot at winning various Tetris-themed merchandise, including branded hats, messenger bags, and even bathrobes.

Originally launched in 1984, the Tetris brand is now 30 years sold. It's one of gaming most well-known franchises, and has sold hundreds of millions of games to date.

The Tetris brand still lives on in the console space. Just last summer, Ubisoft released Tetris Ultimate on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game even runs at 1080p/60fps.
