The Best Battles In Comics This Week
It's a good thing not everyone gets along in comics.
Comics often feature huge fights with superheroes against supervillains. Sometimes we even have superheroes fighting other superheroes. Get ready to cheer (and possibly cringe) at the brutal punches being thrown in this week's selection of best battles.
There will be some spoilers below!

SECRET WARS #9
(By Jonathan Hickman, Esad Ribic, and Ive Svorcina)
The heroes on Battleworld are ready to put an end to Doctor Doom's reign as a god. Black Panther and Namor prepare to take him on. How do you fight a god? T'Challa managed to get an Infinity Gauntlet and uses it to transform Doom into glass.

Namor follows this by throwing his trident at Doom and shatters his body. But both Namor and Panther know it's not that easy.
Doom uses the powers he obtained to reform himself.

The fight rages on, and it almost appears that they are evenly matched. But Doom soon turns the tables; he makes it clear that T'Challa's actions haven't accomplished anything. Did Black Panther really think he could defeat God Doom?

As Doom points out how much of a fool T'Challa must be for thinking he could defeat him, Doom notices T'Challa smiling. This was all a distraction. Doom will have to continue the fight against Reed Richards.
BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #2
(By James Tynion IV, Freddie E. Williams II, and Jeremy Colwell)
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are in a strange world trying to fight Shredder and the Foot Clan. In this world, they encounter a man dressed as a bat. As we often see in comics, a fight soon begins when Batman wonders what these giant turtles are doing in his city.

The four turtles attack Batman at once. He manages to dodge their blows, grabs one of Raphael's sai, and signals the Batmobile to shock the turtle. Michelangelo comes at Batman and tells him to think fast.

Donatello is also taken out quickly. Leonardo charges toward Batman with his swords; he's not happy at seeing his brothers get knocked around.

Luckily for Leonardo, Master Splinter arrives to put a stop to all this. What will Batman think of a giant talking rat?
BIRTHRIGHT #13
(By Joshua Williamson, Andrei Bressan, and Adriano Lucas)
Mikey is back in his homeworld, trying to escape dark forces that followed him over from another dimension.

The fight is contained in a deserted area but it soon moves to the streets. Mikey isn't concerned about civilians witnessing the execution of his attacker. Mikey doesn't even flinch at his attacker's mystical swords.

Ready to complete another part of his mission to rid the world of this evil, he prepares for the final blow. But he gets a little surprise.

It's not a physical attack but one that cuts into his soul. The attacker continues slashing at Mike, and he is unable to defend himself. You know there's no way this is the end for Mikey but it's definitely not looking good.
That's all the time we have for this week. Thanks to Impervious and Bamz2Bluntz for their suggestions.
