The Complete Rock Band 4 Soundtrack

Less than a month to go before Rock Band returns.

Harmonix on Monday announced 13 more songs for Rock Band 4, completing the game's soundtrack.

The new tracks are listed below, and are very varied. Classic rock fans may enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd's "That Smell," while there is also the Brad Paisley country song "Start a Band" and the '90s cut "Follow You Down" by Gin Blossoms. Poppier songs like "Tongue Tied" and "I Bet My Life" are also featured.

Rock Band 4 launches on October 6 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You can see the game's full soundtrack below. For comparison, you can check out Guitar Hero Live's soundtrack here.

Harmonix notes on its website that Rock Band 4, while it's soundtrack is not as extensive as Guitar Hero Live's, actually "has the most music available of any music game." That's because the game will be compatible with more than 1,500 songs from the game's extensive DLC catalog.

I guess I'm in the minority that finds this set list pretty damn good. Great tracks from Arctic Monkeys, Disturbed, Dream Theater, Jack White, Live, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mark Ronson, QOTSA, REM, Rush, Soundgarden, St. Vincent, The Black Keys, The Cure, The Who, Van Halen (albeit too overplayed for me), Van Morrison, and White Denim.

If I can find a way to transfer all of the tracks I purchased on XBL over to PSN, I'll absolutely pick this up. Something tells me that won't be possible, though. I should probably look into that.

As usual, pretty mediocre on disc set list. If it wasn't for their dlc, rock band would be pretty lame actually

Very underwhelming, when compared to the other Rock Band videogames.

Never enough metal in these games. Give me Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Blind Guardian, Sabaton, PowerWolf.

@gamebuyer22: Guitar hero Live looks like they have a lot more metal. This is a bit weak for my tastes, but it allows for people to choose what they prefer which is good.

.....Not really impressed I must say, a few standouts but this (like Guitar Hero's) is just lacking those rock songs that shot them into popularity... Just my personal view on it

Rock band 3's set list was horrible, and this doesn't look much better. A lot of the same old bands. Not to mention there's no online play?! Thought the service was supposed to get better not worse. I'll stick to RBN.

Rock Band definitely needs more metal and rock tracks, not country or new wave. This is ROCK band after all.

Give me Sabbath, Ministry, Ramstein with some Grunge tossed in for good measure please!

In the mean time, GH apparently revealed a part of the entire song lists and there are already over a 100 songs revealed.

There's like... 2 songs on that entire list that I'm interested in playing? I mean I fully expect this so it's not like some big surprise, nor did I ever intend on picking this up... I just think it's funny how a standard release has so little to offer a fan of the genre.

Very lackluster overall in my opinion. This is subjective, but I think they'll keep the good songs for DLC.
