The Division 2--Here Are The Patch Notes For The March 10 Update
The update fixes issues before Season 1 of the Warlords of New York expansion kicks off on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The Division 2 servers was down for an estimated three hours of maintenance on Tuesday, March 10 at 12:30 AM PST / 3:30 AM EST / 07:30 AM GMT. The downtime was be used to fix an issue that occurred after last week's release of the Warlords of New York expansion on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Maintenance has since ended, and servers are back online. [Update: More maintenance and another update is coming on March 17; you can read about what's changing in the latest set of Division 2 patch notes.]
The issue in question relates to new gear set blueprints not being granted as control point rewards. So before you try to wrestle back control of New York from the Rikers, Cleaners, and so on, you might want to wait until after Tuesday's downtime to ensure that you're rewarded for your efforts. Another fix concerns the Restorer Hive not properly healing for every charge of it you use.
"These fixes are part of the ongoing efforts to fix bugs discovered since the launch of Warlords of New York and we are working on further changes/fixes that require additional time and will be deployed once ready," Ubisoft wrote in a forum post. If the community has its way, one possible future change should revolve around the renewed bullet sponginess of enemies. This has been one of the key complaints since Warlords of New York launched, with enemies and gadgets on higher difficulties taking far too long to defeat for even the most well-rounded squad. This post from Reddit shows how even a Support Station can soak up damage from multiple players:
Season 1 of Warlords of New York also kicks off on March 10 with new endgame content, introducing a new five-target manhunt. Beating all five seasonal targets will unlock a unique EMP sticky bomb Skill variant.
Those who have purchased Warlords of New York will receive Season 1 for free. Future seasons will require a Season Pass purchase, which will be available through the in-game store for 1000 Premium Credits (amounting to around $10).
