The Division 2's First Warlords Of New York Season Is Now Live

The first season in The Division 2's latest expansion is now live for all players.

Comments

The Division 2 recently received its first expansion, Warlords of New York, and today its first season is kicking off with a three-month long endgame event that will introduce new story elements and loot rewards to hunt.

Titled Shadow Tide, this event will be encapsulated in a mini campaign, with new targets for you to hunt down every three weeks. Previous targets will be available throughout the entire season, giving you a chance to wrap everything up before it ends. This Seasonal Manhunt is available to everyone who has completed Warlords of New York, and is specifically for players who have reached the new Level 40 cap.

Now Playing: Everything New in The Division 2: Warlords of New York Expansion

In addition to Manhunt, Shadow Tide is also reintroducing Global Events, time-limited in-game events that have a global modifier applied to the entire game to shake up existing content. Leagues will also introduce new types of challenges for players to undertake for unique rewards, but Ubisoft hasn't yet detailed what these challenges might entail.

Participating in seasonal events will increase your Season Level, which will be used to reward you with new gear and weapons at the end of each season. Ubisoft mentions that players can purchase a season pass to partake in seasonal challenges, but that the first season pass is free to all owners of Warlords of New York.

Warlords of New York takes players back to the city where The Division started, with all new parts of the city open for exploration and a new story waiting to be unfurled in its streets. It's available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
