The Division's New DLC Release Ran Into Some Issues
More problems.
The Division was updated today to introduce the game's first paid expansion, Underground, as well as some major weapon balance changes and more. Unfortunately for some players, the rollout was not as smooth as they would have liked. Some players reported being unable to access the Underground content, while connectivity issues have also popped up.
Thankfully, Ubisoft Massive has provided workaround instructions for some of the problems, while it is investigating the connectivity issues. Here is a rundown of the problems (and solutions where available), as seen on The Division's Twitter channel today:
[XBox] Season Pass: make sure to unlock the DLC in the In-game store. Click purchase and the game will detect that you own the season pass

These are just the latest issues with The Division. When Ubisoft Massive released patch 1.2 in May, there were also quite a few problems that the developer responded to, one of which involved characters going missing.
Underground features a new raid called Dragon's Nest, and new (underground) areas to explore that offer "endless replayability." Ubisoft has achieved this by introducing what is essentially randomly generated dungeons.
Along with the new content, The Division also received its 1.3 update today. This introduces major weapon balance changes and a talent recalibration system, and fixes a bug where the moon was upside down. Check out the full patch notes here.
Underground and the 1.3 patch are available only on Xbox One and PC. The expansion lands on PlayStation 4 on August 2, while the patch should be out next week on Sony's system.
The Division's other two upcoming expansions are called Survival and Last Stand. All three are included in the $40 DLC pass. Release dates for these have not been announced.
