The EU LCS Superweek Day 3 Preview
The final day of the EU Superweek has arrived. Can The Alliance recover? Will Team ROCCAT rocket into a perfect 4-0 record?

Another day, another five matches behind us. We saw some teams choke and some rise to the occasion, but let's not live in the past. The future holds five final matches of the first EU Superweek. Let's break them down.
SK Gaming vs. SUPA HOT CREW XD
SHC impressed us all with their take down of The Alliance. They saw a team unsure of their identity and capitalized on it expertly, showing more composure and poise than their veteran opponents. In the end, they finished well ahead in gold (76k to 62k) and out-maneuvered Alliance in the mid and late game. SK Gaming also shored up a few of their issues when they took down the Wolves. Sure, it wasn't the prettiest of matches, but SK pulled out a winning team fight at Baron to pick up their first win. If it takes 55 minutes for SK to take down SHC, so be it.
Millenium vs. #9 Fnatic

We feel for Millenium in this match. We really do. We aren't expecting them to just roll over, but no one has even touched the deathless duo, Martin 'Rekkles' Larsson and Bora 'YellOwStaR' Kim. You read that correctly. Fnatic's bottom lane has yet to register a mark in the death column yet. Conversely, Millenium failed to secure any kills for their bottom lane in their last match against Team ROCCAT. Instead, Jakub 'Creaton' Grzegorzewski and Alexander 'Jree' Bergstrom put up five deaths between them (which equates to nearly 50% of the deaths that game). Fnatic simply has too much momentum to be stopped right now.
Team ROCCAT vs. The Copenhagen Wolves

ROCCAT simply shut down Millenium in their match. The game was over before 30 minutes, and they only gave up two kills (both from mid laner Remigiusz 'Overpow' Pusch's Riven). ROCCAT also continued to entertain with fun picks, like Marcin 'Jankos' Jankowski's Evelynn (5/0/6). On the other side, Kayle was banned against the Wolves, and just like we predicted, they lost without the champion. Granted, that doesn't mean much seeing as how the Wolves performed decent enough without her. They're looking to be an above average team, but they gave everyone a terrible case of “EU deja vu” when they lost the game in the Baron pit against SK. If they hope to beat the energetic ROCCATs, they'll need to play a little smarter than that.
#4 Gambit Gaming vs. SUPA HOT CREW XD

For the second time this Superweek, Evgeny 'Darien' Mazaev played Warwick, and for the second time, he rocked it. Overall he's accumulated an impressive 7/1/19 score with the wolf, giving other teams pause as to who they may consider banning. If Mazaev is doing well with Warwick, just think of how he'll terrorize when he picks up meta champs like Mundo of Shyvana. Maybe he won't need to. SHC will have their work cut out for them, as Gambit is still a very strong team, but they have some steam coming into this match after convincingly taking down The Alliance.
The Alliance vs. Team ROCCAT
This will be The Alliance's last chance to prove that they can win in the EU LCS. ROCCAT is riding high, playing fast and fun, but The Alliance is still without an identity. They look confused, and frankly, are playing like they're in solo queue. Patrick 'Nyph' Funke and Erik 'Tabzz' van Helvert have yet to gain much traction, combining for a total 8/14/17 KDA over the last two matches. Mike 'Wickd' Peterson has underperformed the last two days, too, reaping a dismal 3/8/8 score in the top lane. If SUPA HOT CREW dismantled The Alliance, what do you think Team ROCCAT, who many consider to be a superior team at the moment, will do with their uncommon picks and plays?
