The Last Of Us 4K Steelbook Edition Launches With Nice Discount
The Last of Us Season 1's Limited-Edition Steelbook released March 18, just in time for a rewatch before Season 2's April premiere.
With The Last of Us Season 2 premiering on HBO on April 13, now's the perfect time to rewatch Season 1 of the critically acclaimed series. If you don't own a physical edition, consider checking out the newly released 4K Blu-ray edition bundled with a fittingly monstrous steelbook case. Released on March 18, The Last of Us Season 1's Limited Edition Steelbook is on sale for $38 (was $50) at Amazon.

This four-disc set lets you relive Joel and Ellie's journey across the post-apocalyptic version of the US in 4K resolution. The collectible steelbook case, shown above, looks awesome. On the discs, you'll find over two hours of special features.
At the time of writing (March 20), Amazon has the best price for The Last of Us Season 1's Steelbook Edition. Walmart is charging a couple bucks more ($40.47), and $35 preorders at Gruv have been sold out for months. This edition sold out at Amazon and Walmart multiple times during the preorder window, and it's unclear if it will receive another printing after available stock sells out.
If you don’t mind skipping out on the steelbook, it's worth noting The Last of Us was already available on 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. You'll save eight bucks by opting for the standard edition 4K Blu-ray.

The Steelbook Edition of Season 1 isn't the only cool new collectible themed around The Last of Us. PlayStation recently announced a Limited Edition DualSense Controller that releases April 10. Preorders are sold out at major retailers, but you can still secure a preorder at PlayStation Direct.
