The New Donkey Kong And Sonic Lego Sets Are On Sale At Amazon

A bunch of Lego sets are on sale ahead of Black Friday 2023, including several in the recently released Donkey Kong and Sonic lineups--some of which haven't received meaningful discounts before. A couple of the sets can be had for less than $30, so consider checking them out if you need something to keep you busy as we quickly roll into winter (and the nights become a lot longer).

One of the best deals is for the Lego Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog: Green Hill Zone, as it's now $60 (down from $80). It features over 1,000 pieces, includes several minifigures (such as Sonic and Dr. Eggman), and is inspired by the iconic Green Hill Zone from the games. A cheaper alternative is the Sonic's Speed Sphere Course, which is just $28 (down from $45).

Donkey Kong fans will want to check out the expansions for Lego Super Mario, which include DK's Tree House for $51, Dixie Kong's Jungle Jam for $22, and Rambi the Rhino for just $9. Keep in mind that these work best with a Lego Super Mario Starter Set--which also happens to be on sale for $48 (down from $60). And while it's not on sale, the Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Expansion Set is always worth a closer look, as the massive kit is arguably one of the coolest Lego Mario expansions available.
