The Uncharted Movie Now Has a Script

I'll be looking forward to seeing that movie. I think Chris Pratt would fit the role of Nathan Drake very well, after seeing him in Jurassic World.

I thought I was playing in a movie when playing these games. Ought to be good for sure. The casting of Nathan Drake, Sully, and Elena will be critical.

Should be good. The tomb raider movie was ok. If this is anything like Indiana Jones, but with a bit more humor and feeling, I'll actually spend money on a movie ticket lol.

So know get perfect cast ask Chris Pratt again to play Nathan drake . Sony don't get worst cast or movie won't sell.

So, its just a modern day Indiana Jones movie? Thats what it will be compared to, so prepare for the backlash...

I personally would love to see this movie come to fruition...done properly though. The only person that could possibly play Nathan Drake is Nolan North...period.

as long as people keep thinking that videogame movies are going to suck then of course theyre going to suck at the box office. all i read on the web when a new videogame based movie is not on how much it MIGHT suck but how much it WILL suck. quit being a buncha debbie downers and give more of these movies a chance and then maybe you can reserve judgement for it AFTER you watch the movie. makes sense, eh?

ill start caring about all this news about uncharted and the last of us movies when they actually open at the box office.

I love the uncharted series. Beat them all up to this point. I will give it a fair shot. It's been a long time since we had a good adventure movie like Indiana jones. Ok adventure discovery.

An Uncharted movie actually makes sense since the Uncharted games are essentially ND's attempt at trying to "digitize" a summer blockbuster. Unfortunately, video game movies tend to fail because the directors and actors that produce them rarely ever understand the source material well enough to pull it off.

its an unwritten rule that xbox fanboys cant watch this movie.

Uh, who cares if it has a script? How many decades of complete garbage video game movies does the world have to endure before people finally realize that you have a better chance of winning the lottery, than finding a good video game based movie?

Who keeps throwing money at this intellectual diarrhea?

I'd love to be proven wrong, but the long and rather abysmal track record for game to movie productions doesn't' give me much hope for this, nor any other game to movie endeavor that might come in future regardless of how good or bad the source material is.

it can become a good movie. but without the looks and voice of Nathan Drake and companions it will never be Uncharted and disassociation is given. i like the idea of an animated movie i read a few comments below, using all original voice actors. it's mainly because the games already are partly like movies, so at least for uncharted-fans it will be weird to not hear the familiar voices. it can of course work fine for people who don't know uncharted.

this isn't assassin's creed, where the outfit is enough for any actor to give viewers the right feeling and you can tell a story about a new character. uncharted has to be about Nate.

A movie based on uncharted is like a pizza sandwich based off of pizza. Redundant to say the least.

he could have said "very interesting and exciting", but he said "monstrously cool" and that means just one thing, if someone says this kind of bigmouthed supercool words, he is not being honest .....

If you need to use words like "monstrously cool" you're trying too hard. This movie has fail all over it.

Chris Pratt would be perfect for the role. Just offer him the right amount of $$$, and he'll sign the contract. I think Blake Lively could play Elena.

This is the guy that wrote Smokin' Aces which was AWESOME!!! but he also wrote Smokin' Aces 2 which was CRAP!!!

Last of us movie with Hugh Jackman as Joel would be better.
