The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Hides a Small Secret You Can't Find on Your Own

You wouldn't be able to find this Witcher 3 secret without the help of a mod.

Now that Geralt's adventures (at least in The Witcher 3) have come to an end, one player has found a secret that could be seen as one final farewell. However, you won't be able to find it without a mod that lets you teleport to unreachable areas.

YouTube user Pippo311lp used a freecamera mod to find the secret. Once found, they teleported Geralt to the mountain plain, which is normally inaccessible unless you have a mod that enables the debug console. You can see what they did in the video below, and check out the secret for yourself.

The secret looks like a blank canvas between two pillars, though once Pippo uses Geralt's Witcher senses, a photo of the CD Projekt Red development team is revealed. It's not an earth-shattering secret, but it does feel like a nice goodbye.

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine received a score of 8 in GameSpot's review. Critic Kevin VanOrd concluded, "Geralt deserves to be called a legend, of course, not least because he stars in one of the greatest role-playing games ever made. Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf’s final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style."

Last week, pictures surfaced of The Witcher 3's characters in a noir thriller setting. The paintings were done by Ástor Alexander and reimagined Geralt as a more modern detective--he's even traded his sword for a gun. You can check them out for yourself here.
