This Destiny: Rise of Iron Concept Art Is Stunning

Yesterday, Bungie announced the next expansion for its space shooter Destiny. Titled Rise of Iron, the expansion will feature a new area, enemy faction, weapons, armour, and social space. Several artists from Bungie have since shared their concept art for the expansion online, via ArtStation. Take a closer look at the gorgeous pieces in the gallery below.

The images were shared online by David Stammel, Allan Lee, and Chelsea Velazquez, whom all work at Bungie. Destiny: Rise of Iron will be launching on September 20 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, skipping last-generation consoles. Players on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be going down a different path.

It will reportedly be larger than the first two Destiny expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves. Players who pre-order will get an iron-skin version of the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher.
