This Year's Call of Duty Still Going Strong in the UK

Infinite Warfare is again the No. 1 game in the UK.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare continues to ride high in the UK.

Chart-Track today released its latest weekly report, stating that Activision's shooter was the top-selling physical game in the UK during the past week ended December 24. This was the third straight week that Infinite Warfare was the best-selling game in the UK, according to Chart-Track.

Rounding out the top five best-selling games in the UK, in order, were FIFA 17, Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, and Grand Theft Auto V. Mafia III landed in the No. 6 position, while Ubisoft's extreme sports game Steep landed in the No. 7 position, the highest ever for the game.

The full Top 10 chart for the week ended December 24 is below. Note this table does not include digital sales data.

COD at the top and Titanfall 2 is nowhere to be seen. I'm not surprised, but it's still sad to see that people's taste is so bland.

@tarheelsforever: The games are pretty decent to be fair. I've already gone off IW multiplayer so the longevity for that is dead for me already but the campaign is amazing, MWR multiplayer is awesome - sure you can hate on the microtransactions they added but its still a great MP game.

Plus, I'm guessing most of the cheap sales are being snatched up by those who already have their main shooter for the year.

How is GTA V still selling?? Baffles me how they can still be selling more than the likes of FFXV (not a dig at the quality whatsoever - more so relating to how they pull off this kind of longevity in sales its mind-blowing)

@shay-cormac: Yeah its pretty damn close to perfect in my opinion too I don't know why but its just mind-blowing to me how consistently it is still selling to this day - they deserve every single sale but it's still crazy man!
