THQ Announces Lightspeed Rescue

THQ announced on Monday a new PlayStation game based on the Power Rangers license. Titled Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, the title is being developed by Climax Development. Geared toward a young demographic, Lightspeed Rescue will let kids save the world from evil monsters.

"Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue gives kids their first opportunity to assume the role of their favorite Power Rangers hero on the PlayStation," stated Michael Rubinelli, vice president of development at THQ. "The huge, fully interactive 3D gamescape provides an exciting environment in which kids can rescue innocent people from the evil Diabolico."

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue for the PlayStation is slated for a release this fall.
