THQ Announces Melbourne Office

THQ announced Monday that it will expand its international operations with a new office in Melbourne, Australia to serve the Australian gaming market. Martin Good, formerly of GT Interactive, will serve as General Manager at the Melbourne office.

"THQ Australia is the next step in our international growth strategy," stated Tim Walsh, vice president of International, THQ. "Our direct relationships in the four largest international markets should increase our margins and our ability to manage our product line."
