THQ Delivers EA Sports to GBC

THQ announced Wednesday that it has entered into an agreement with Electronic Arts to develop and distribute several of EA Sports' top-selling games for Nintendo's Game Boy Color. Those games include NHL 2000, NBA Live 2000, Madden NFL 2000, NASCAR 2001, Triple Play 2001, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000, and FIFA 2000. "The ever-growing market for the Game Boy Color should provide an excellent environment for these proven games," stated Alison Locke, senior vice president of sales and marketing at THQ. Look for these games to ship in the second half of 1999 and early 2000.
