Titanfall 2 Has Gone Gold
Vince Zampella congratulates developers for finishing development.
Titanfall 2 development has been completed and the game has gone gold, Respawn Entertainment has confirmed. The announcement was made on Twitter by studio co-founder Vince Zampella.

Going gold means retail discs for Titanfall 2 can now be produced. Although going gold usually signals the completion of development, studios now often continue working on day-one patches or DLC.
Titanfall 2 launches on October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is just one week after Battlefield 1--another EA shooter--is released for the same platforms.
EA has said it believes Titanfall 2 will perform better than its predecessor. Chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, said this is due to the increase number of people with current-gen consoles and the game's multiplatform launch. Unlike the first Titanfall, which was exclusive to Microsoft platforms, the sequel will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
One of the major new additions to Titanfall 2 is a full story-driven campaign.
"Titanfall 2's single-player is crafted to dive deeper into the Titanfall universe, exploring the unique bonds between Pilot and Titan, and taking full advantage of the movement and combat, to deliver a feeling a feeling of being unstoppable together," EA's Devin Bennett previously said.
The shooter's system requirements and graphics settings have also been announced and can be seen here. There's also a 1v1 mulitplayer mode that is accessible by drinking Mountain Dew.
