According to UK retailer GAME, Respawn's Titanfall 2 will be released in 2016. The Titanfall 2 page at the store's website currently shows a "TBC 2016" release window for the shooter sequel (via VideoGamer). It may only be a placeholder date, though 2016 matches up with a previous report.

EA officially announced Titanfall 2 last week, but it did not share a release date or window for the game. This isn't the first time a 2016 launch date for Titanfall 2 has been spoken of, however, as a toy company said the same thing earlier this year.
Officially, Titanfall 2 is scheduled to come out during the second half of publisher EA's fiscal year. That translates to sometime between October 2016 and March 2017. This is also the same release window at Mass Effect Andromeda and the next mainline Battlefield game.
For now, you can watch the Titanfall 2 teaser trailer above, while EA will reveal the game in full during its E3 briefing in June, at which time we will also presumably learn a release date.
The first Titanfall was released in 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. The sequel, however, will launch on consoles for both Xbox and PlayStation systems, as had been rumored.
Recent reports have suggested the game will feature a proper single-player campaign, something the original Titanfall lacked. Its development team is known to be about 30 percent larger than the group that worked on the 2014 original, and there may also be a spinoff TV show in the works.
