Titanfall beta coming to Xbox One and PC, not Xbox 360 [UPDATE]
Vince Zampella revealed that a Titanfall beta announcement is coming soon, but his team is only working on the Xbox One and PC version of the game.

UPDATE: January 27 17:45PM PST
Confirming our earlier suspicions, Respawn CEO Vince Zampalla confirmed that the "supersecret" announcement will be details about the game's beta.
Via Twitter, Zampella wrote, "#supersecret announcement time. I'm sure no one has been able to guess from the leaks. PC and XboxOne Beta! Details in the coming days." Regarding the Xbox 360 version of the game, Zampella wrote that it's being done by Bluepoint Games. So it would be safe to assume that the beta will be exclusive to PC and Xbox One.
The headlines has been changed from "Titanfall beta sounds pretty likely at this point" to reflect this updated information.
The original story appears below.
Is there going to be a beta for Respawn's much-anticipated new shooter Titanfall? It certainly looks that way. Just hours after promotional material was discovered that suggested a beta for the game would be available February 14-19, Respawn cofounder Vince Zampella offered a tease on Twitter.
"Yes, we will have an announcement soon. I'm sure no one can guess what it will be... #supersecret," Zampella said.
According to the leaked marketing material, the only you can get in on the Titanfall beta is by preordering the game through GameStop in the United States and Micromania in France. We've reached out to GameStop for comment, but haven't heard anything back just yet.
If there is indeed a beta for Titanfall, it won't be much of a surprise. In December, Zampella said Respawn was "definitely" thinking about offering a beta for the game.
Some Xbox One owners were given a chance to play Titanfall earlier this month through an alpha trial. Some footage of this pre-release period has leaked.
Titanfall launches on March 11, 2014 exclusively for Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The game is never coming to PlayStation or Nintendo platforms, but sequels could. Last week, Respawn addressed criticism about the game's 6v6 player cap and revealed a $65 Xbox One Titanfall-theme controller.
