A job listing posted on Gamasutra has revealed the studio is looking for "designers for two game development projects--a new game in the Titanfall universe as well as a new 3rd person action/adventure IP."
It continues: "Respawn is seeking a Senior Level Designer to embrace and contribute to the project vision, breathing life into the gameplay world and helping define the moment to moment player experience."
News that the studio was developing a second game alongside Titanfall 2 first broke in December 2014, when studio co-founder Vince Zampella said "there is a second team [at Respawn]. Non-Titanfall related."
Stig Asmussen, a veteran industry designer who served as creative director for God of War III, joined Respawn in June 2014, adding some third-person action game expertise to the studio.
Titanfall was released in 2014, published by EA. Although developer Respawn officially confirmed Titanfall 2 in March 2015, it hasn't provided details on what the follow-up will entail.

In October 2015, Zampella said "I promise that it will be worth the wait."
The first Titanfall was exclusive to Xbox and PC, but the sequel could see a multiplatform release, Zampella has said. It may also have a single-player mode, though Respawn has not yet confirmed this.
Electronic Arts has said Titanfall 2 will arrive in 2016 at the earliest.
Respawn also previously announced a partnership with free-to-play company Nexon for new Titanfall mobile games. The first will launch in 2016 for iOS and Android devices and will not be a first-person shooter. The mobile games are being developed by new LA-based studio Particle City.
