Today Is The Last Chance For These Animal Crossing Fish And Bugs

Update: March has come and gone. Here are the new fish and bugs you'll be able to catch in April and the critters leaving after April is up.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the fish and bugs you can catch change with the seasons. As each month ends, there will be a handful of fish and bugs you won't be able to catch again for several months, so it's a good idea to catch them as soon as possible so you can donate them to your museum and enter them into your Critterpedia. In addition to being seasonal, some of the aforementioned critters are rare too, so if you haven't caught them yet, you might have to do some last-minute scrambling if you want to get them in time.

Northern Hemisphere

March isn't a big month for fish and bug departures in the Northern Hemisphere, but you'll definitely want to get a Stringfish if you're able. These ultra-rare fish only appear in the rivers on your cliffs; the exact elevation doesn't matter. Stock up on fish bait and be prepared to fish for a while.
