Although Square Enix never announced it, the Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy has launched on PlayStation and Xbox just ahead of the publisher's big news event later today, March 18.

Just as the leaks said, the Trilogy comes with the definitive editions of each game in the new trilogy: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. The compilation is selling for $20 right now, but this is only an introductory price; it will go up to $50 on April 2.

You can buy the game right now through the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store.

As mentioned, the Square Enix Presents video broadcast is scheduled for March 18 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Square Enix will announce a new Life is Strange game during the event, while the publisher has also teased that Lara Croft's story in Tomb Raider may not be finished.

2021 marks the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider, and Square Enix has told fans to expect further announcements about the franchise later in the year.

I already own all these, but if they added 9th gen console enhancements to them then I'd bite.

I suspect this is the 8th gen versions of each game in a bundled package. That title, pretty deceptive.

Checked it out on the app, right above the description, it says only playable on ps4. Then in the actual description, it says playable on ps5, but may need an update. Confusing.

If the series is going to continue it better keep Camilla Luddington as the actress. She does such an incredible job. I don't think I could buy anyone else in the role without another full on reboot.

As for the re-release... ANY enhancements? Tomb Raider still runs at 30fps ffs.

I tried so hard to get into the these games but...I just couldn't. They felt like uncharted lite.

@toonami4life: Did you try all 3? #1 wasn't great, #2 was pretty awesome, #3 went all stealth-action on us. After running out of Uncharted games to play (Sans Golden Abyss... put it on consoles you cowards) I thought they were pretty great.
