Activision announces the release of the PC version of its popular skateboarding game.
Activision has announced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for the PC has arrived in stores. The game lets players assume the role of one of several characters, many of whom are based on actual pro skateboarders, and they can perform tricks and combos in a number of 3D environments. The PC version of the game includes a number of improvements on the previously released console versions, including improved graphics, smoother animations, better tricks, and three new multiplayer modes. In addition, players can build their own skate parks using the game's map editor and create custom characters using the create-a-skater tool.
The console versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 were developed by Neversoft, and the PC version was developed by Gearbox Software. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is now available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.99. For more information, take a look at our
