Ubisoft's For Honor takes the No.1 spot on the UK sales chart for the week ending February 18. According to sales monitor Chart-Track, this is Ubisoft's first No.1 since the release of Tom Clancy's The Division in March 2016.

Chart-Track also states that it is the biggest "entirely new IP to launch at No.1 since No Man's Sky." It reports 57 percent of For Honor sales were on PS4, with the remaining 43 percent on Xbox One.

For the longest time i had thoughts that some games would sell way more if they had put more resources in development. GTA V did just that and i'm glad it's selling like it does. Hopefully more than a handful of devs and investors are truly taking notice. Make games epic and we'll buy em in mass.

I doubt those two new entries will have any lasting staying power. My guess is thry will have quite a short tail to them sales wise and in terms of players.

Let's hope that For Honor wouldn't meet the same fate as No Man's Sky. Hot for about a week or so, and then never heard of ever again.
