Top 20 Twitch Games for August 2015 Revealed

Video streaming site Twitch on Friday published its list of the top 20 games on the platform for August 2015. As determined by total minutes watched, League of Legends continued to hold the top spot, with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Hearthstone, and H1Z1 rounding out the top five.

Despite not even being out yet, Call of Duty: Black Ops III landed at no. 12 thanks to streams from the game's beta, which was held on console and PC during the month. The biggest jumps in month-over-month popularity in the top 20 were by DayZ (at no. 16, up from no. 22) and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (at no. 20, up from no. 35). New PlayStation 4 game Until Dawn was the first game left off, coming in at no. 21.

The biggest loser, meanwhile, was Rocket League, which fell 12 spots from last month. The soccer-with-cars game saw the most precipitous drop overall, as the next biggest fall was from FIFA 15, which lost four spots. Take a look at the full list of top Twitch titles for August 2015 below.
