Transformers: Fall of Cybertron drops August 28 in US
High Moon Studios' third-person action game hits North America in late August for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; heading to Europe on August 31.
The fall of Cybertron is set for August. Activision today announced via a new trailer that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will arrive in the United States for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 28. Previously, the game was expected sometime this fall. A European launch is slated for August 31.
A follow-up to 2010's War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron takes players through the final hours of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons as they battle for dominion over their fading planet.
Fall of Cybertron will not include its predecessor's cooperative component, but High Moon is beefing up the game's multiplayer mode. Specific details are thin, but the developer showed the game off at DICE 2012 in February, revealing that players will be able to customize their characters' parts and color schemes.
