Transformers goes gold

Atari today announced that Transformers for the PlayStation 2 has gone gold and is now scheduled for worldwide release on May 11. Inspired by the '80s toys and cartoon show of the same name, the third-person action game sees players assuming the role of one of three Autobot "robots in disguise" as they battle against the evil Decepticons.
