Uncharted 4 Offers the Series' First Single-Player Story DLC
Uncharted 4 offers a DLC season pass dubbed the Uncharted Triple Pack.
Sony today announced a release date and various special editions for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which will be receiving the first single-player story DLC in the series' history.
The primary bonus included with the digital deluxe edition of Uncharted 4 is something called the Uncharted Triple Pack. This appears to be the name of the DLC season pass for the game; Sony describes it as including "future access to the first-ever, single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series and two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare, and legendary multiplayer items."

The Triple Pack can be purchased as standalone DLC for those who don't pick up the digital deluxe edition. That version of the game is priced at $80, suggesting the Triple Pack will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $20, but that detail hasn't been officially announced.
As you'd expect, Sony didn't offer any details about what the single-player DLC will consist of, when it will take place, or whom it will star. Uncharted 4 is intended to be the end of Nathan Drake's story.
Past Uncharted games have offered DLC, but it's been of the multiplayer variety: Uncharted 3 had quite a few DLC packs, ranging from new maps to new skins and avatars.
Naughty Dog addressed why Uncharted 3 hadn't received single-player DLC (something that's become increasingly common in the games industry) back in 2011. "There's a very specific reason," director Justin Richmond told Eurogamer at the time. "Whenever we sit down and think we should do some single-player DLC, someone pitches something and we realize--that's a five hour level."
"We'd rather build out another game than we would do episodic content," he added. "We're so small that we can't afford to have a whole team working on DLC. That's why we don't do it. We'd much rather be working on the next game, producing the game quickly and having people play another adventure."
