Uncharted And God Of War Devs Congratulate Guerrilla On Launch Of Horizon Forbidden West

A series of developers have congratulated Guerrilla on launching the big PS4 and PS5 game.

Sony's Horizon Forbidden West is out now around the world, and its launch is being celebrated by other first-party PlayStation studios.

The Last of Us and Uncharted developer Naughty Dog congratulated Forbidden West developer Guerrilla on the launch and said, "We can't wait to join Aloy in uncovering the mysteries of the beautiful world you crafted." Sucker Punch Productions, the developer of Ghost of Tsushima, said in its own flattering message, "Congratulations to our incredible friends at Guerrilla on the launch. We are all so excited to embark on Aloy's journey this weekend." Both posts included custom art, which is a nice touch.

God of War studio Sony Santa Monica also reacted to the launch, congratulating Guerrilla and sharing a stylized photo of Aloy showing Atreus her bow, with Kratos looking on.

I wasn't big on Zero Dawn so I won't get the sequel, but of course I want more huge games like this out there.

@alienfreaks04: I felt the same about Zero Dawn, but I’m loving HFW so far. It’s a big step up in every way, especially in delivery, presentation, scale and graphics. The things that bored or disinterested me in Zero Dawn are now done quite well. I haven’t been very excited about a new game in some time, so that says something. It’s definitely a crowning achievement for PS5 thus far. There’s Ratchet and Clank and now there’s Forbidden West. The only two games that really hit it home in terms of the PS5’s capabilities.

@alienfreaks04: Same. Im not big on the first game either. Graphics were great. Gameplay? Best part. Story? Awesome. But after i beat it i just didn't really see a reason to revisit. Still getting the sequel but there are just tons of other games out there id rather play.

@gr4h4m833zy: You basically just described a great game but can't recommend it because..... it got over? Not everything has to be an infinite roguelike.

@gr4h4m833zy: So the game is incredible on all fronts but you WOULDN'T recommend it just becuse you wouldn't replay it? That's a terrible reason to say a game is bad.
