see now im sure that with the billions of usb ports that the PS3's going to have they're probably going to allow the add on of a mouse if players like the PC version and cant stand the controller when playing UT.... unreal championship was good but not as good as UT2004 and stuff.... maybe this will change that.... who knows..... Did anyone actually read the Jan issue of PSM? Did the staff at Gamespot even read it? Did the PSM staf even proof their copy? In one article PSM claims that UT2007 is a launch title. Yet, in the article with the developer, at the very end they stated UT2007 for the PS3 still has a year left in the development cycle. IF UT2007 is a launch title, I guess the PS3 is launching for Holiday 2007. ...but PSM said it would launch in the spring, with UT 2007?

Man this is gettin crazy. I like the 360 for the next gen consoles but I have to stick up for the playstation people. U pc fanboys are gettin out of hand. Man the keyboard and mouse thing vs controller is just ur opinion. Nothing more. If u can prove to me that a kb & m is better than controller then I'll leave gamespot forever. I mean as in scientific study or something along those lines. Thats just ur preference. Heck u probably suck with a controller. But thats cool though cuz I'm not that great with a kb & m. My accuracy and maneuvaribility improve with a dual analog pad though. Just please shut up about that stuff. Its gettin really old. I'm pretty sure you've seen the other twenty something pc lovers that said the same exact thing. UT 2007 will be on next gen consoles. Yes the 360 and PS3. Take a look at the dev interview if u dont believe me. And unless ur gonna run a SLI or Crossfire setup the console version will probably look better too. Now who wants to fork over all of that dough and still might not be able to enjoy the game at max settings? Not me. Anyway......I can't wait for this game. Flak Monkey fo life. Holla Back.

The PC version will be better regardless if the PS3 supports mouse and keyboard. People need to realize by the time the PS3 drops PC graphics will already be ahead of it plus who wants to dish out 70$ for the PS3 version when it wont be as good as the PC version which will likely drop at 50$

Unreal Tournament, is made to be played on PC with Keyboard and Mouse, playing it with a gamepad sucks. Even if it's compatible with keyboards it will be only good to be played online, because the bot skills are calibrate for gamepads users, and the sony's online service must be improved a lot to be good

if it doesnt get released for the box 360, then epic must've gotten paid off by sony. The only reason it's launching for the ps3 is to attract the pc xbox demographic. The game would sell way better for the 360 and i seriously doubt that they chose to do this because of the ease of develping on a sony console. Sony just wants to show dev's that the 360 is not the only console that can ahndle the unreal 3 engine

you guys keep saying that dual analog sucks for fps and it should stay on the computer. blah blah. you guys just dont know how to use it. you cant hope around like a damn bunny so you get sad and cry to your mom who is down the hall. i would do the same thing ow. ya but i dont make myself look like a tard barn trying to jump over a bullet. i agree that a mouse is much better to aim but, not the keyboard it's way to spaced out. but, ex. throwing a grenade on some games requires you switching to them by number of mouse wheel scrolling where as controller is just a click of a button. do-no. sounds awsome though. sony rules along with home built computers none of that microsoft pre fab crap.

OdiumX: I still like the PS3 but this game is not going to make me like it more, I'm still getting it for the PC. Why? Well... 1) The controller...... Not good for FPS! 2) Online.... for xb360 they should stick with the championship series, its a lot better then just putting out a UT for console, if u cant get custom maps and mods and stuf, it wont be the full experience of a UT game

haha I really don't like the playstation 2 the xbox is superior in almost every aspect.... I don't like the playstation online network it suckkss ass... I still bought 2 ps2's :P haha so I'm sure i'll end up buying a ps3 at launch. but what's with the unreal hype... I've played all the unreal games ( pc and console ) they are nice but I can't say i'd buy a console for it... and if its a multyplatform game I'd rather play it on my pc I think we all have to wait how it turns out ... I hope they try something new and special for the console version like unreal championship 2 otherwise its no good at all as a premium launch title if you ask me

itll have online and there will probably be filters so u can choose what type of controls u want. but the important thing is this, U CAN PLAY THIS GAME ON MAX SETTINGS WITHOUT UPGRADING UR COMPUTER.

^^^ Killzone is a game which has alot of hype to live up to, thanks to E3 2005, but such hype can often backfire. I feel UT2007 is more likely to impress, whereas Killzone is more likely to disappoint (remember all the hype surrounding Killzone for the PS2?). We'll know soon I guess. Anyway, I expect we'll see more from these games, as well as Sony's PS3 launch details and games at CES next week. Should be a great show.

i wouldnt be getting to over reved about UT '07. the real game to make all the hype is gong to be killzone.

^^^ To be honest, I would be really surprised if the PS3 launched for over $400. I'm expecting $399 (without a HDD) when it's launched in the US in 2006, then add the cost of the optional HDD. I also doubt the games will cost more because of Blu-ray. IMO, Sony's comments about the PS3 being expensive is probably just a marketing ploy. That is, if the console costs more than $399, no-one will be surprised because Sony said it will be expensive, however if it costs $399 or less, gamers will be pleased that it costs less than they expected. :) I'm not sure of cost in other parts of the world, but I'm sure it will be competitive priced.

Do any body knows the price of the ps3 console and its Bd games, i hope to be max 600$

How will the online play be?

What's so special about Unreal? That game is old as PAC-MAN. It's JUST a first person shooter! And you know they will not have all the features that the PC version has... the PC version is more like a Battlefield with vehicles and etc. I bet this one will just be a fancy version of DOOM... wow lets all get excited. Note to Sony: Launch UFC 4 with online play, give us a gift and launch SOCOM3 or 4 since you didnt give us a gift for Christmas. Launch GTA NYC, Launch MADDEN and LIVE with all the features that the 360 didn't give us... who cares about Unreal... that game gets released twice a year. 360 rules... I could keep going on... you all have boomerang controlers WTF is that?! the 360 controlers are cordless phones (Voice over IP)!!!! Launch real games! Splenter Cell, Fight Night, Battlefield, UFC, SOCOM, GTA, NOT DOOM 38 million and 1!

And my dear friend (Mkgodofwar), Gundam and Killzone has nothing to do with each other. Gundam wasn't shown running at 5fps sped up to 60fps, that was Killzone (although like Killzone, pre-rendered footage was shown at E3). Besides, early footage of any game running on early hardware for ANY new console, rarely is a demonstration of a console's power, since developers are still learning about the hardware (hence the choice sometimes to show pre-rendered footage instead). This applies to ALL consoles. However, I find it amusing how often gamers are quick to recognise this fact on their console of choice and yet conveniently ignore it for others. It's NO surprise that not all the SPEs will be exploited in first generation PS3 games, it's NO surprise that not all the CPU cores will be exploited in first generation X360 games. BOTH consoles have features in their GPUs which will take years to be fully utilised. It will take years before we see the real power of these consoles. My friend (Dr_Yassam) , about the Gundam game that was showen , the demo featured a low frame rate (5 f.p.s), but high-resolution graphics and detailed mechs, This is because the demo is only using one of the Cell's SPEs (total SPEs 7 ) , and that they was amazed at the power of the PS3. all that was stated by (Shin Unozawa) , so if u want to kill me ....lol , im telling u im not responsible ..........lol;)

Come on GloverD, that's being dumb. 360 could easily handle UT2007, and NO-ONE has said UT2007 is a PS3 exclusive, not even EPIC. This game has been announced for PC and next-gen consoles (note 'consoles' not 'console'). EPIC's "Unreal Engine 3.0" runs on PC, PS3 AND X360, therefore creating games which will run on all three formats is relatively easy. It's possible that EPIC are secretly working on an exclusive PS3 game, but it's unlikey to be UT2007, because like Gears of War for X360, they would say if it's exclusive. --- Anyway, check out the following link and listen to the Developer Interview ---<< LINK REMOVED >>
