Update: Although rumors pointed Matti 'WhiteKnight108' Sormunen as the potential new starter, Millenium announced that Markus 'Kottenx' Tingvall will fill the jungler position until the end of the split.

Markus is well-known in the European Challenger scene. He was part of talented line-ups in both Season 2 and Season 3 - Absolute Legends, Natus Vincere, Elo Blade, Team Alternate (as a substitute) and Samurai in Jeans. Kottenx's debut will be on Thursday against the Copenhagen Wolves.
EU LCS team Millenium, currently last in the standings, announced a staff and roster change today. Jungler Alvar 'Araneae' Martin Aleñar announced over Facebook his intentions to step back from the spotlight:
After some weeks and a lot of talks, I decided to step down and let my team try other players. It’s not a decision I like but it’s a decision to change the spirit within the team. For more than 1 year I have been thinking for 5 guys at the same time and now I feel that with a change, the motivation of the team will come back. Also, with a lot of public focus on me, it will make the team mentality grow, and hopefully they will start performing better and better.
Araneae's leave is currently tentative. When asked if he'll be stepping back as a substitute or retiring from the team entirely, he responded:
@ObscuricaGGC I will take a break now, but I will come back if my team needs me.

While Araneae's leave was voluntary, Millenium's coach was fired by the team. Said Aleñar in the same Facebook post:
I would also like to announce that the team will no longer work with Olly as a coach, and I have to apologize for the actions that our ex-coach performed in the past. I feel guilty for this because I was the main reason of why he was with us. I never approved the leaks on twitter or the abuse he gave to others. Sorry to all the affected people.
Ex-coach Olivier 'Olly' Debeuf was responsible for leaks regarding Evil Geniuses' planned participation in the NA LCS prior to the start of the season, as well as the Lemondogs-Ninjas in Pyjamas transfer controversy.
